Virus
Employing VHS ribbon intrigues me not only for its resemblance to certain microscopic elements, but also because it tells a story. Our life stories are simultaneously influenced by and influence our bodies on a cellular level, both positively and negatively. These pieces explore the symbiosis of humans and viruses, where the virus could also be, for better or worse, an idea, belief, or action.

Growth
The reflective quality of the resin gives these pieces a wet quality as they seem to grow, divide, and carry out various cellular functions (or dysfunctions).
